NCLEX SUCCESS PLAN TEMPLATE

Directions:

Self-reflection is needed to grow and advance both personally and professionally. Honesty within yourself and your abilities is key to success. Place everything that you do in a day on this form. You may use colors, bold, different codes: whatever makes it easy for you to “see” what is happening on any given day. Be very specific and include all aspects of life, driving, sleeping, study time, self-care, shopping, eating, everything. When creating your timeline, be sure to account for time to retake any outstanding ATI proctored assessments. This is where you must “SEE” how you spend your time and how you can plan preparation for the ATI assessments and additional course work. Being accountable for time and planning promotes success.

· Start with the first day of the quarter.

· Review your course work responsibilities and prioritize.

· Review assignments and due dates, then complete this NCLEX-RN® Success Plan Template <document sent to Cory>

· Finally, review the questions at the bottom of the calendar.

Answer honestly, with detail. Reach out to your faculty for guidance if you are struggling with time management in this last quarter. Identify members of your support system and share your success plan; ask for assistance with staying on track. This is the last hurdle of your educational journey, and creating a plan for success is the first step toward earning licensure as a registered nurse.
